WONDERFUL NATURE, UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT – CASA VESTA is located in Zufre, a municipality which is declared of cultural interest. It stands in the southeast part of the Natural Park of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche. Surrounded by extensive meadows, hills and forests it is hanging like a balcony above the Lake of Zufre. Its origin is islamic and it still preserves its historical centre wirth the Town Hall from the 16th century and the church also from the 16th century but erected over a mosque from the 12th century. <\/p>\n

Zufre is part of the \u201cRuta del Jam\u00f3n\u201d, the best area in Spain for the production of Iberian Pork and the best place to enjoy its delicious products like the famous and absolutely extraordinary \u201cJam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico de bellota\u201d (also known as Pata Negra Ham or Jam\u00f3n de Jabugo). The joyful black iberian porks live in the meadows of this privileged natural environment. You can watch them running around under old oak trees, olives or the cork trees on your walks around Zufre. We are happy to organize a visit for you at one of the ham producers, or to one of the best bullfighting breeds, to a horse breed with the noble and elegant Andalusian horses or a guided visit to an ecological cottage with 100% ecological products and meat.\n<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

The Sierra from Huelva, in which beautiful charming Zufre is located, is distinguished for its spectacular environment with stunning landscapes and breath-taking views and the beauty of its villages. Among those are Aracena, with the famous cave “Gruta de las Maravillas”, Almonaster la Real, where we find one of the better preserved old mosques of Andalusia or Linares de la Sierra, which still preserves its particular charme. It is a perfect environment for practicing hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking etc. or to enjoy the gastronomy of the region.
